In his early career as a mason, Nick Whatley had the opportunity to work on numerous restorations, and replications of early American brickwork including ovens, fireplaces, chimneys, and exterior walls. The appreciation of the rugged simplicity of these early works of functional artisanship has transferred directly into the development of our stone work.

We welcome your restoration project, no matter how small. Over the years we have restored numerous slate and soapstone sinks, antique table tops, drain boards, clocks, and lamps. We love the challenge of bringing new life to old materials that look unusable. To find a way to fix what is repairable and artfully replace damaged parts with new stone when necessary often leads to very satisfying results.
